Juice your fascia  Myofascial release & yin yoga

17th of June
with Victoria Slaymark

Join Victoria for the powerful combo of Myofascial Release– a self-massage practice – with Embodied Yin. Through your own felt experience, you’ll learn techniques that you can continue using at home to create lasting change in your body.

“This is one of the most direct, simple and accessible tools I’ve experienced for truly landing me in my body. It’s my “go-to” practice to loving sense inwards, soften stubborn areas of tension and welcome whatever is ready to be released.”

Myofascial release uses massage balls or yoga blocks and slow intentional pressure that you can relax into. Combined with yin postures (resting in poses for 3-5 mins) and fluid movement, we hydrate the connective tissue and release deep sticky tension.

The magical power of myofascial release:

  • relieves chronic tension and pain

  • improves mobility and posture

  • enhances circulation and lymphatic flow

  • regulates inflammation and immunity

  • increase body awareness and grounding

  • supports awareness of internal emotional world

  • deep nervous system relaxation

For those that wonder.. But what exactly is my fascia?!

Fascia is a web-like network of connective tissue that surrounds, holds and connects everything in the body– bones, muscles, nerves, blood vessels, organs, and more. Rather than separate parts, the body functions through this interconnected system. Healthy juicy fascia opens us to begin experiencing the body as this one whole entity– YOU <3.

The ancients knew this. And we now have research showing fascia plays a major role in how we experience tension, pressure, pain, movement, and body awareness — influencing not only how we move, but how we feel.
